Rosalva Cutino died April 19 of pneumonia. She was 75. She was born Dec. 22, 1924, in Mazatlan, Mexico, to Jose and Rosalva Vasabilvazo Morales. She married Gerardo Cutino in Matzatlan on April 13, 1946. He died May 12, 1994. Cutino lived in Matzatlan until 1994, when she moved to Eugene to live with her daughter. She enjoyed cooking, and she was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Eugene. Survivors include three sons, Jose and Juan, both of Matzatlan, and Gerardo of Aguascalientes, Mexico; two daughters, Yolanda Vanderpool of Eugene, and Rosalva Cutino of Mazatlan; a sister, Isabel Gonzales of Salina Cruz, Mexico; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Her ashes were placed in the family tomb in Mazatlan. Andreason's Cremation and Burial Service was in charge of arrangements. (Register-Guard, Eugene, Oregon, 29 April 2000)
