James T. Montgomery died of typhoid fever at his home on Mulberry Street at 12:30pm Friday. He is survived by a widow and one child. His brother, Herbert Montgomery, arrived from Kansas City on the 3:27 train Friday afternoon too late to see his brother alive.
Mr. Montgomery was born near Owensboro June 9, 1872. The funeral will be preached this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Third Baptist Church. The interment will be at Elmwood.
