Genevieve E. McQuillen (nee Welker) age 101 passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 8, 2019. She was the beloved wife of the late Mervin McQuillen. Genevieve was born on November 20, 1918 in a farmhouse in Bradford Twp., PA to the late Ernest and Eva Welker.
She was the loving mother of Darlene Westcott, Terry McQuillen and Sherry Stafford (Bill). She was preceded in death by her grandson Jack, granddaughters Tanya, Karen and will by sadly missed by her 5 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 16 great great grandchildren and 2 great great great grandchildren.
She was the loving sister of Henrietta Marcinko and the late Avanell and Erkley. She will also be sadly missed by her 2 nieces Jeannie, Sandy, nephews Pat, Mike other relatives and friends. Genny loved her family, traveling, especially to Cape May, Germany, Venice, Key West and living with her son Terry in Florida. She loved to work outside in her yard, read books on history but most of all spending time with family.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family Saturday, December 14, 2019, from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon at Lambie Funeral Home 8000 Rowland Avenue (At Rhawn Street). Her service will follow Saturday 12:00 noon at the Funeral Home. Interment will be held Monday 1:00 pm at Kylertown Cemetery, Kylertown, PA.
