Colon - Paula Langdon Stump age 72 of Colon, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016, at her home surrounded by her family.
Paula was born October 24, 1943, in Coldwater, a daughter to the late Paul J and Clarabelle (Rambadt) Nelson and sister to Robert (Ellen) Nelson.
Paula was a long time Sherwood resident, graduating from Union City High School in 1961 and from Argubright Business School in 1962. She later moved to Colon.
She married Harry Langdon on September 16, 1961, and they made their home in Sherwood. They had 4 children; Suzanne (Mark) Eveleth, Doug (Laurie) Langdon, Rick Langdon, and Steve Langdon, all of Sherwood. She had 8 grandchildren; D. Michael Langdon, Jonathan (Noel) Langdon, Jennifer (Brian) Eveleth, Rachel (David) Rinn; Mark David, James, and Katharine Eveleth, and Will Langdon as well as 5 great grandchildren, the youngest being Aiden Langdon.
Harry preceded her in death on September 16, 1996 on their 35th wedding anniversary.
In 2005 she married Alan Stump who had 2 boys. Al preceded her in death on October 1, 2013.
Paula retired from Maxitrol Company several years ago. She loved playing Dice, Yatzee and Euchre.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Schipper Funeral Home LTD in Colon. Funeral services celebrating the life of Paula will be Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 11 am at the funeral home with Pastor Trent Hammond officiating. Burial will follow at Sherwood Cemetery.
