Samuel/Daniel Bailey enlisted in the 8th Missouri Volunteer Cavalry at age 19 on Oct. 12, 1864 in Rolla, MO. Rank: Pvt., Co. "A". Born: Stoddard, Missouri and listed as Farmer.
From Oct. 12, 1864 to July 20, 1865 Samuel/Daniel Bailey was a Member of the 8th Missouri Volunteer Cavarly and rode with my ancestors.
July 20, 1865 Samuel/Daniel Bailey was Transferred to Co. "D" of the 11th Missouri Cavalry.
* Military Records could have given previous DOB. Not able to get back into them at this time and "Corrected Post" to match Document. The posting of the Missouri Death Certificate # 26882 B gives Informant as: Mrs. Donnie BAILEY of Marionville, Lawrence County, Missouri, USA, states that Daniel Wesley BAILEY was born on 12 SEP 1845 and died 10 AUG 1918 in Marionville, Lawrence County, Missouri.
