John Lee Anderson, 66, passed away Nov. 26, 2019. He was born March 7, 1953 in Great Bend, the son of Carl Wesley and Ruth (Pringle) Anderson. He was a graduate of Marion High School and had served in the US Army. He had served in law enforcement in Salina, Abilene, and Peabody. He had worked at Walmart and operated Anderson Handyman Services. He married Julie Pankratz, June 28, 1985, and again Oct. 16, 2016.

He is survived by: his wife, Julie; sons, Justin and Brian (Skylar), both of Salina, Casey, Lindsborg, and Tommy, of Springfield, Vt.; grandchildren, Caleb, Andi Lynn, Mercedes, Tristin, and Ayden; sisters, Dona Houltberg (Bill) of Salina, Linda Christ (Lyle) of Goessel, and Diane Kahns (Randy) of Lincolnville; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; and daughter, Carissa Houdyshell.

Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina, where the family will receive friends 5-6:30 that evening.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, at Ryan Mortuary, with burial in Marion City Cemetery, with military honors.
