Mrs. Armstrong was born on January 6, 1934, in Jamaica Plains daughter of the late William and Clara May (Hooper) White. She was raised and educated in Lynn and in 1952 moved to Peabody.

Mrs. Armstrong was employed for many years at Almy's Department Store in Peabody before becoming a teacher's aide for 8 years at the Center Elementary School in Peabody. For many years she served at voting poll locations throughout the City of Peabody. Charlotte loved spending time with her family and her many friends and also enjoyed gardening and making puzzles.

While living in Lynn, Charlotte met and married Robert "Humbo"Armstrong who passed away in August of 2004. She will be sadly missed by all. May the wind beneath her wings bring her to her resting place to be reunited with her husband to dance once again!

She is survived by her 4 sons and their spouses, Brad L. and Boran Armstrong of Methuen, Barry W. and Kim Armstrong of Merrimac, Bruce W. Armstrong of Wakefield and Pastor Bobby G. and Kristi Armstrong of TN; 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, John and Marsha White of TN and David Wilkins of MA; 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
