JAMES FLOYD MATHEWS, 101, of Dixie County, FL passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2006 in Palm Garden of Gainesville, FL. The Perry, FL native lived in Dixie County most of his life, a member of the Jopa Masonic Lodge #4, was a farmer and a member of Rock Sink Baptist Church, Old Town, FL.
Survivors include two daughters, Romia M. Smith and Mary Lee Welch, both of Branford, FL; nine grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Graveside services were conducted at 4:00 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2006 at Rock Sink Baptist Church Cemetery, Old Town, FL with Rev. Steve Boyd officiating.
Daniels Funeral Home of Live Oak is in charge of all arrangements.
