ALGREN, Jaiden Lynne 2 , of Vandalia, Ohio lost her fourteen month courageous battle with brain cancer, Friday April 29, 2005. Jaiden was born April 21, 2003 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Heather Algren and Jonathan Abramson, both of Vandalia. She was honored with the Wright Patterson Air Force Base Young Hero's Medal of Courage on February 12, 2005. In addition to her parents she is survived by her maternal grandparents Kathie Hall of New Carlisle and Greg and Hope Algren of Florida; paternal grandmother Linda Stewart; maternal great-grandparents, Tom and Debbie Algren of New Carlisle and Josie Mowry of Springfield and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by maternal great-grandparents, Robert and Doris Hall; paternal great-grandmother Mildred Collins; cousins David Myers, Jeffery Cooke and Tony Hix. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday May 1, 2005 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN & CHRISTMAS FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio with Rev. Jeff Burdsall of the United Methodist Church of New Carlisle officiating. Burial at New Carlisle Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:30 AM to 1 PM at the funeral home. The family would also like to send a special thanks to Children's Medical Hospital of Dayton, Le Bohner Children's Hospital and St. Jude Hospital both in Memphis, Tennessee, for all of their care and kindness.
