TOPEKA - Steven Phillips, 58, died July 7, 2007, at his residence in Topeka. He was born August 26, 1948, in Newton, the son of Lloyd C. and Kathryn J. Black Phillips. He was a graduate of Newton High School and Emporia State University. He was employed by the Santa Fe Railroad. Steven was a Vietnam veteran and served in the U. S. Army in the 101st Airborne Division.
Survivors include a sister, Barbara Phillips Nunns of Hutchinson.
Funeral will be Friday at the Petersen Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
