Dorothy was born on December 3, 1933, in Parlier, CA, and passed into rest on Wednesday, October 1, 2003, at her home in Fresno with her family at her side.
She is proceeded in death by her husband, Clarence Pelley; her daughter, Janice Pelley; and her brother, Paul Schletewitz.
Dorothy was a telephone operator most of her life, retiring from the Veterans Hospital in 2002. She worked at the Big Fresno Fair for 36 years, which she loved.
She is survived by her brother, Ray Schletewitz; her children, Steve Pelley, Laura Bosworth and her husband Brad, and Karen Smith and her husband Robert; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was a beautiful person and will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at the New Covenant Community Church, 1744 E. Nees in Fresno, CA on Monday, October 6, 2003, at 11 a.m.
