Jose Alberto Lopez Sr.
Devoted son, father, and grandfather
Known to many as Yo-Yo, passed away Monday evening Nov. 4th 2019. Jose was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona on Nov. 29, 1981 and was partial owner of Swifty Cleaning.
Jose Alberto Lopez meant a great deal to those who knew him in life. To his children, he was a loving and caring father, protector, provider, and life teacher. He is remembered fondly by his sons and daughters as an extraordinary chef. To his wife, he was a sharp-dressed, charismatic jokester with a beautiful smile. To his friends and people around him, he was a down-to-earth man who was always up for a friendly conversation. Jose always found a way to keep a positive outlook on life and his circumstances and his upbeat personality was infectious to everyone in his life. He would want his loved ones left behind to remember how much he loved them and to live their lives with unwavering grit, strength, and love. Jose would want everyone that knew him to remember that family is the most important thing in life and in death.
Jose is survived by his children: Maryjane Vital-Lopez; Marybell Lopez-Vega; Maryann Lopez; Marylou Lopez; Jose Lopez Jr.; his youngest son, Ernesto Lopez, his only grandson, Liam Vega; his wife Corina Leyva-Lopez; mother Ofelia Lopez; father Juvenal Velasquez; sister Cristal Velazquez; and brother Hector Velasquez.
