MRS. MINNIE S. BLACK

Mrs. Minnie S. Black, 69, of 1023 W. Jefferson St., died at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday at the residence following a long illness. Mrs. Black was born in Mexico, Mo., and had been a resident of Springfield since 1933. She was a member of the Douglas Avenue Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, Harold C.; three daughters, Mrs. Harold Langenbach, Springfield; Mrs. Ernest Higbee, Palm City, Fla., and Mrs. Nelson Clark, West Palm Beach, Fla.; one brother, Lewis Atkins, and one sister, Mrs. Ida Beasley, both of Mexico, Mo., and three grandsons.
Remains are at Bisch Memorial Home where funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, the Rev. John Collins officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
