Cordelia E. Abigana

Cordelia Abigana, passed away on July 14, 2014 due to a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-four years, Bernard Abigana. She is survived by her children, Carol Burns and husband Danny of San Francisco, Robert and wife Vickie of San Bruno and John and wife Carol of Massachusetts. She is also survived by her three grandchildren Brett Abigana and wife Nadine, Brendan Burns and Hilary Abigana and one great-granddaughter, Caeli. She is further survived by her nephew, Florentino Abigana, her niece Frances Martinez and her great nephew, Florentino Jr., as well as many other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clement and Mary Pugh, brothers; Floyd, Clyde and James; sister, Mary and nephew Bernard, and is survived by one sister Alice Wood and her husband Ed of Florida.

Cordelia was born and raised Cordelia Ellen Pugh, in Illinois before meeting Bernard Abigana during WW II. After a whirlwind courtship, they were married and settled in Daly City after the war. She had a career as a seamstress prior to a long career with Pacific Bell/AT&T, and then retirement with Bernard and settled once again in Fairfield, CA.
