Floyd Vos, 58 passed away on September 23, 1974, at the Adrian hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born February 14, 1916, at Chandler, Minn. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Vos.
On June 3, 1937 he was married to Cornelia Scholten at Edgerton, Minnesota. Following his marriage he was engaged in farming in the Chandler area until 1965. After 1965 he was engaged to trucking until the present time.
Survivors include his wife, six sons: Marlyn, Gary, and Ricky of Chandler, Leonard and Bill of Lake Wilson and Arvin of Yakima, Wash., and four daughters, Marilyn of Fremont, Calif., Helaine of Milpitas, Calif., Karen of Fallon, Nev., and Beverly of Edgerton. Two brothers, Nick of Worthington and Walt of Holland, Minn., one sister, Jeanette of Calif., and 28 grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson.
