Robert E. Helgren, a longtime resident of Larchmont, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on January 26, 2019; he was 104 and 1/2 years old. Bob was predeceased by his wife Syrilda, who died in 2015 at age 100. He was survived by a daughter, Terry, son David, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His family will receive friends Tuesday morning from 8:30 AM until 9:30 AM at the John J. Fox Funeral Home in Larchmont. A funeral service will start at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla.
