Mrs. Georgia Sullivan Alicki, age 96, of Roberts Lane, Lenoir and most recently of Trinity Ridge, Hickory passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 9, 2019. Mrs. Alicki was born on July 30, 1923 in Caldwell County to the late James Monroe and Caroline Rash Sullivan. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, John Aloysious Alicki; five brothers, Thomas Lee Sullivan, Joseph Monroe Sullivan, Benjamin Andrew Sullivan, Howard Chadwick Sullivan, and James Clark Sullivan; and four sisters, Mary Lou Annas, Gladys Pauline Annas, Florence Irene Annas, and Mildred Marie Sullivan.
Mrs. Alicki was of the Baptist faith and a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Lenoir.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Alicia Alicki Burin and her husband Michael of Aurora, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia, no further services are planned at this time
