Mia was born Dec. 26, 2002 in Lubbock to Michael and Josie Ramirez. Mia touched the hearts of everyone that knew her as a loving, giving, beautiful and outgoing little girl. She loved to color, play with her dolls, and put on make-up. She was known as "Princess" to her family. She never complained about physical problems, and she had a mischievous side to her as well. Her favorite possession was her Spiderman blanket.
Relatives left to miss her are her parents, Michael and Josie; sisters, Angel and Maigen; brothers, Jonathon and Esequiel; grandparents, Modesta Ramirez, and Susie and Seferino Lozoya; godfather, Thomas Perez; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.
A Rosary service is planned for 7 p.m., Monday, July 9 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday, July 10, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, with Father Andres Mendoza officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
