DAVID LEE BURTON, Tim's Brother ❤

We are so heart broken…. David, Tim's brother died yesterday (Oct. 8, 2019) less than two months after his sister, Linda passed away. I will write more later, I can't even think right now. God Bless You All.

❤ David loved country music and I never saw him when he wasn't wearing cowboy boots. His family and friends wore cowboy boots to his funeral to honor him. ❤

David was born on July 14, 1959 in Ashdown, Arkansas. When he was 6 years old his family moved to Texarkana, Arkansas. He was a Christian and member of Halls Memorial United Methodist Church. He was a 1979 graduate of Arkansas High School and worked in construction most of his life.

On October 8, 2019, David passed away suddenly of a heart attack at his home. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dock and Maudie Burton, one granddaughter; three brothers, Walter Marks, Eddie Burton and Dock "Nick" Burton, Jr.; two sisters, Martha Burton and Linda Burton-Henry; four nephews, Henry Burton, Adam Burton, Leon Burton and Antonio Burton; two nieces, Ethel Burton and Linda Burton.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory:
Four children, LaDavid and Charsity of Texarkana, Arkansas. Adrian of Kenedy, Texas. Monica (Michael) of Sherwood, Arkansas.
Five grandchildren, DaJanee of Texarkana, Texas. A'Miracle of Texarkana, Arkansas. Destiny of Little Rock, Arkansas. McCorey and Mykah of Sherwood, Arkansas.
One great grandchild, Trinity of Texarkana, Texas.
One brother, Timothy (Tammie) of Texarkana, Arkansas.

David was the first person that I met in Tim's family. He was very funny, always joking and kidding around. He was very social, if he even "thought" he knew you, he would come up and talk to you. He never missed an opportunity to help someone else. He never called me by my real name, he had made up a special nick name for me and his brother, Tim. After his death, we found out he had nick names for everyone. When Linda's children came in from Odessa, Texas to bury their mother less than two months before David passed, they said "Let us get a picture of our two uncles together because we never know when we will see you guys together again." That was the last picture Tim and David took together, he passed away just a few weeks later. Only if we could have known it was the last time.....

Thank you to all that visit David's memorial. God Bless ❤
