Carol D. Rogers, 71, passed away on October 7th at her home in Lampasas, TX. Carol was born February 11th, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois to Dr. Garland Lee Dansby & Francis Maebell.

Carol was a 1966 graduate of Llano High School and obtained her Bachelor's degree in Education from Southwest Texas State University. She later received her Masters degree from Tarleton State University. Carol began her teaching career at Evant ISD and retired from Copperas Cove ISD in 2008. Still looking to make an impact in education and administration she went on to work part-time for ACT in Temple as well as becoming involved for many years in numerous charitable organizations that she was passionate about.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents Francis Maebell & Dr. Garland Lee Dansby, grandparents Mamie and Charles Fitzgerald, and Mattie and Johnathan Dansby.

She is survived by her Aunt Earleene Fitzgerald of Brooksmith, TX, brother Stephen Dansby & wife Linda also of Brooksmith, daughter, Nicole Wiebe (Rogers) & husband Bryan of Colorado City, TX, daughter Tracy Puda (Rogers) & husband Jake of Lampasas, TX, son, Troy Rogers & wife Zoey of Lampasas, TX, son, Kevin Rogers & wife Molly of Katy, TX. Carol's family continued to lovingly grow with grandchildren Shae Wiebe, Dylan Wiebe, Brandon Scott, Sydney Johnson, Austin Puda, Kate Rogers, and Jack Rogers.

Carol was an avid traveler, visiting many different places throughout the United States and abroad, joyfully making new friends all over the world. Amongst her favorite adventures she kayaked with whales and experienced wild safari animals in Africa. She also enjoyed watching Badger Football on Friday nights, spending time with the many friends that she made throughout her life and she especially loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren.

Visitation and Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, October 13th at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas. Visitation will begin at 1:30 with Services starting at 2:30. Graveside services will be held upon arrival at the Llano City Cemetery in Llano, TX.
