On Thursday October 3, 2019, Nathan Alexander Riddle, beloved son, brother and father passed away in Waco, Texas,at the age of 24.

Nathan was born on April 11, 1995, in Riverside, California, as the first of five children to Brian and Angela (Gregg) Riddle. He attended Blackman High School in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and graduated from China Spring High School in 2013, where he moved with his family in 2012.

Nathan worked various jobs in Texas, and as a tree climber and trimmer for Davy Tree Experts in Oklahoma. He is the father of two sons, Alexander and Augustus and was awaiting the birth of daughter Fallyn with their mother Jamison Peña. Nathan loved his family very much.

Nathan enjoyed skateboarding and the outdoors and recently had taken up bicycling as a hobby. In his spare time he could often be found with friends skating, cycling, or heading off with his fishing pole and tackle box. Nathan was insatiably curious, and counted his library card among his most valuable possessions. Nathan didn’t worry too much about paying a traffic ticket but he would try to part the sea to make sure a library book was returned on time. He loved spending time with his friends and was appreciated for his sharp wit and silly antics. More important, he was always willing to lend a helping hand or offer an encouraging word to one in need whether a friend, family member, or a complete stranger.

Nathan is survived by his sons Alex and Augustus, expected daughter Fallyn, and their mother Jamison, his father Brian and mother Angela, brothers Joshua, Andrew, and Vincent, sister Sarah, niece Evelyn, his grandparents Ron Riddle, John and Linda Baillie, and Carole Gregg as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 11am Saturday October 12, 2019, at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 9820 Chapel Road, Waco, Texas 76712 by Father James Ekeocha. Entombment will follow in St. Jerome Columbarium.

Following the entombment, you are invited to a reception meal in the parish hall.
