Mrs. Morrell was a native of Alabama. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mary Cooper, 410-A E. 19th, and a sister, Mrs. Ludie Knight of Hico, Tex. Arrange for funeral services will be announced by Black-burn-Shaw Funeral Home."

"ROBERT A. COOPER
Funeral services for Robert Alanson Cooper, 45, of 1613-A Pierce, will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Blackburn-Shaw Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery under the direction of Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors.

Mr. Cooper died Saturday night in the Amarillo Veterans Hospital. He was born in Brownsville and was a veteran of World War II. He had lived in Amarillo for 43 years. He was a disabled veteran and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mary E.; a brother, H.G. of New Orleans; a sister, Mrs. William McClellan of K.I. Sawyer Air Force Base, Mich., and his mother Mrs. Myrtle Cooper of the home here."

After Robert’s (Bob) death Bonnie (Faver) Hawkins indicated that her grandmother helped Mary relocate to Roby, TX nursing home. SSA info says she died in Rotan, which is very close to Roby.

Bonnie (Faver) Hawking indicated that her sister, Pam (Faver)Steffen, spoke with person at Weatherbee Funeral Home in Rotan, TX and learned the following information:
Graveside Service minister was Werth Mays.
Mary was born in El Paso, TX on 3/21/1921.
She died May 1, 2000, Rotan Healthcare Center in Rotan, TX
Buried in Roby Cemetery, Block J, New West Edition, Roby TX.
Marker was paid for.
