Dewey Earl “Bob” Abercrombie was born May 27, 1938 in Murfressboro, Arkansas. He left this earth on October 12, 2005 in Jackson, Mississippi.
Left behind to mourn his passing were his wife, Kay, to whom he was married in 1961, their two daughters, Sheri Lynn Gilmore, and Jill Lauryn Chase, their grandson Boyd Chase, and his mother and father.
Dewey’s remains were cremated and retained by the family until the death of his beloved Kay 13 years later. After Kay’s passing in 2018, Dewey’s ashes were interred with her remains in Wintergreen Cemetery.
