Louis Paul Braud, 76, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died at 8 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2007.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by four sons, David, Roger, Henry Paul and Michael Braud; three daughters, Debra B. Blanchard, Susan B. Thibodaux and Patricia B. Martin; 17 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jolene Van Sickel Braud; his parents, Henry Paul Braud and Cecile Boudreaux Braud; one son, Louis Braud Jr.; one brother, Richard H. Braud; and one granddaughter, Andrea Braud.
