Daughter of Thomas Jess & Mary (McCOLLISTER) SUMMERSGILL. Married December 19, 1878 in Brownville, Lee County, Alabama, by Jasper HICKS, M.G., to John T. ABNEY. Homemaker and mother of at least two children. Buried in lot C267.

"MRS. John T. ABNEY DIED LAST NIGHT // Mrs. ABNEY, wife of Mr. John T. ABNEY, secretary and treasurer of the Swift Manufacturing company, died last night at 10 o'clock. Besides her husband she is survived by one son, Albert ABNEY. She also leaves three brothers, Mr. James SUMMERGILL, of New Orleans, Mr. John SUMMERGILL, Enterprise, Ala., and Mr. Henry SUMMERGILL, of Mobile, Ala., and one half brother, Mr. Will MARTIN, of Birmingham. She was a member of the Methodist church and was a devout christian woman. The death of Mrs. ABNEY is not only a sad loss to her family, but will be the cause of deep regret to her numerous friends. "MRS. ABNEY BURIED IN PINE GROVE // The funeral of Mrs. John T. ABNEY took place from the residence at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Rev. J. N. PEACOCK conducted the services. The remains were interred in Pine Grove cemetery. The following gentlemen acted as pall-bearers: Messrs. Walter McCOLLISTER, W. J. WOOD, J. M. PAYNE, Jr., George W.
