  Mrs. Edythe Mae Johnson Nelson, 83, of 314 Parry, died Sunday evening in a local nursing home of natural causes.
  Mrs. Nelson was born Aug 1, 1886, in Hyrum, a daughter of Julius and Josephine Liljenquist Johnson.
  On Sept. 14, 1916, she was married to Sumner P. Nelson in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Dec. 17, 1932.
  She was a member of the 10th LDS Ward and a former member of the old folks committee. She was a member and former literary teacher in the Relief Society and had been a visiting teacher over 30 years. She was a member and former vice president of Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Camp 51, and had served as captain of the Weber County Board of DUP.
  Surviving are two sons and four daughters, Gordon J. Nelson, Mrs. E. Rumel (Gwen) Cayton, both of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Philip D. (Beverly) Sorensen, Mrs. H. Hay (Melba) Heiner, Mrs. Blanche Taylor, S. Parry Nelson, all of Ogden; 17 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren.
  Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in Lindquist and Sons Colonial Chapel with Bishop Mark Bott of the 10th Ward officiating.
  Friends may call at the mortuary Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday until services. Buiral in the Ogden City Cemetery.
