Celia Edith Moses Finman, 96, of West Hartford, died at home on Nov. 27, 2013. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of Hyman and Ida Moses. She was predeceased by David, her beloved husband of 69 years. She was a member of the Agudas Achim Synagogue in West Hartford for over 65 years, serving as Social Club president, Sisterhood vice-president, and chairing numerous fundraisers. She was also predeceased by brothers: Benjamin, Morris, and Louis Moses and sister, Sadie Schoen.

She was a member of the Agudas Achim Synagogue in West Hartford for over 65 years, serving as Social Club president, Sisterhood vice-president, and chairing numerous fundraisers. She served as president of ORT, Mt Laurel Chapter, and remaining active into her 90's; she was a member of Hadassah and the Hebrew Home Auxiliary. A founding member of the Participant's Council II of the Bloomfield Senior Center, Celia was instrumental in opening "Ida's Shoppe" with sales benefitting the Center.

Celia was predeceased by her brothers Benjamin, Morris, and Louis Moses and sister, Sadie Schoen. She is survived by her daughters, Beth Seeley and husband, Joseph; Charlotte Jason and husband, Buddy; grandchildren, Jeremy and Mindy Jason, Julie Jason and Stephen Farrelly, Jane Bendor and Brian Graham, Dara Seeley and Jason Myers, Meredith Seeley and Conrad Manzano, great-grandsons, Benjamin Graham and Finn Myers; and loving nieces and nephews.
