YORK -- Elizabeth Huskey Akins, 70, died Friday, May 11, 2007, at her home in York.
Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Akins was a daughter of the late Paul Anderson Huskey and Arlie Bell Ramsey Huskey. She was a member of Temple of Life Church, and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her spouse, Mitchell Akins of York; four daughters, Robin Martin, Linda Harris, Christine Williamson and Yvonne Dover, all of York; one son, Danny "Baker" Stewart of York; six sisters, Bonnie McCarter of York, Shirley Dover of Blacksburg, S.C., Billie Durbin and Patsy Shytle, both of Earl, N.C., Carolyn Turner of Shelby, N.C. and Brenda Martin of Blacksburg; two brothers, Paul Huskey of Rock Hill and Ricky Huskey of Gaffney; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Roger Dale Huskey.
