Actress. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she was one of the most popular leading ladies of the Silent Film Era appearing in over 40 features. She began her film career after high school at Vitagraph Studios making her first movies "The Dream Lady" (1918), "Everybody's Business" (1919),"The Sea Rider" (1920), "Princess Jones" (1921) and "The Midnight Alarm" (1923). When Vitagraph was merged with Warner Bros. she worked as a freelancer in films to include "Pampered Youth" (1925), The Isle of Forgotten Women" (1927), "Savage Passions" (1927) and "Bride of the Desert" (1929). She retired from the film business in 1930.
