QUEALY, William N. of Middleton, formerly of Everett, entered into rest on Monday, January 2, 2017 in the Continuing Care Unit at Brooksby Village in Peabody. He was 79 years old.
He was born in Everett and lived there for most of his life. Marsha and Bill had relocated to the Ferncroft Towers these last few years. They also enjoyed their summers at the Lebanon, Maine home. Bill had his Masters Degree in Criminal Justice. Late retired superintendent at the Middlesex County House of Correction and Deputy Superintendent Suffolk House of Correction.
Beloved husband of Marsha I. (DeSimone). Dear and devoted father of Allison Quealy Heintz and her husband, Derek of Lynnfield. Brother of Mary Whelan and her late husband, John of Everett, Ellen Philbin of Malden and the late G. Ann Quealy, Patricia Breau, John and Alan Quealy. Loving grandfather of Nicholas and Lucas Heintz. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend William’s visiting hours in the Cafasso and Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Friday, Jan. 6 from 4-8 p.m. His funeral will be from the funeral home on Saturday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett, at 10 a.m.
Services will conclude Woodlawn Cemetery Chapel, Everett.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in William’s memory to the Massachusetts General Hospital Parkinson’s Research Fund #201523, 125 Nashua St., Ste. 540, Boston, MA 02114 would be sincerely appreciated.
