Services for Mrs. Vivian Jones Race, 23, Guilford, who was killed early Tuesday morning in an accident north of Maryville, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Guilford. Elder Franklin S. Hough will officiate and burial will be in Weathermon Cemetery, near Guilford.
The body now is at the Johnson Funeral Home, Stanberry. It will be taken from Johnson's to the church at Guilford and will lie in state at the church from 9 a.m. to service time Friday.
Mrs. Race, who was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jones, Guilford, was born Mar. 10, 1938, near Bolckow. She was married to Martin Allen Thompson, who died Nov. 13, 1960. She was married Nov. 14, 1961, to Harley Race, who was injured in the collision Tuesday morning.
