David Lippincott Booth D.V.M., 65, of Westminster, died Sunday morning, July 27, 2003, at his home after an extended illness. Born Dec. 1, 1937, in Virginia, he was the son of veterinarian Robert L. Booth and the late Doris Creighton Booth. He was the husband of Sarah "Sally" Speicher Booth, whom he married at the Ascension Episcopal Church in 1967.

Surviving, in addition to his wife and father, are children Michael Lippincott Booth of Alexandria, Va., Kathryn Elizabeth Booth of Savannah, Ga. and David Speicher Booth of Westminster; aunt Helen Goldsborough of Sandy Spring; brother R. Creighton Booth of Bethlehem, Pa.; sister Susan Houle of Danville, Vt.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by son Lawrence Lippincott Booth in 1970.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster. Interment will be private.
