SOMERSET—Emory M. Pletcher, 65, a former resident and photographer of Somerset, died Wednesday at his home at Davistown, near Indian Head, where funeral services are to be conducted today.

EMORY M. PLETCHER
Emory M. Pletcher, 65 years old, of Davistown, near Indian Head, died at 2:25 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at his home after a years illness. He was born in Saltlick township in the Trout Run district on February 10, 1880, the son of Mrs. Elizabeth Miller Pletcher of White postoffice and the late William Pletcher, and has spent all of his life in that community with the exception of 20 years he resided in Somerset. A former school teacher for five terms in Bullskin and Saltlick township districts, he was a photographer in Somerset for a number of years. His last employment was by the State Department of Highways.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Florence Matthews Pletcher; his mother and these children: Clyde M. in England, John D. and Emory, Jr. in the Navy, H. Ray of Indian Head, Mrs. Ethel Coffman of Manor and Mrs. Florence Shafer of Indian Head. There are five grandchildren and one brother, Ira Pletcher of White. A private funeral service will be held at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Clyde B. Brooks funeral home at Indian Head where friends may call until noon on that day. Rev. William Beals, pastor of the Davistown Evangelical Church, will officiate. Burial will be made in Mount Nebo Cemetery. Friends are asked to please omit flowers.
