Dorothy Bayless Graham, 99, passed away on July 16, 2019. Dorothy was born May 12, 1920 in Waxahachie to George Claude Bayless and Atha Mildred Forston Bayless. She attended Waxahachie public schools and graduated from Trinity University when it was located in Waxahachie. Dorothy married Edward Maxon Graham, her high school sweetheart, on August 6, 1942. They were married 62 years before his passing.

She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church in Waxahachie, serving in the Primary Department for many years. She was also an Elder and Trustee. In her younger days, she was an avid golfer. Dorothy was employed at Williamson Printing Corporation for many years, retiring in 1988. She was a charter member of the Antique Automobile Club of North Texas. After Bob was born she was a devoted mother, seeing that he had every advantage in life.

Her survivors are her niece Emily Rodriques and her husband Joe, plus several other nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Maxon, son Robert Emory “Bob”, four brothers, a sister and several nieces and nephews.

Services for Mrs. Graham will be 11 AM on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the Central Presbyterian Church with Reverend Matt Curry officiating.
