On June 21, 1947 he was united in marriage with Henrietta E. Priess and together they enjoyed 35 years of marriage, to this union two children were born. Joseph was preceeded in death by his parents and two brothers Frank, and Steve.
He is survived by his wife Henrietta; a son Joe III, Lebanon; a daughter Gertrude Gorecki, Macks Creek; and two sisters, Helen Angle, Lynchburg and Betty Timchek, New York City.
Services will be at 2 P.M. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Theo E. Allwart Sr., with burial in Mt. Rose Memorial Park. Arrangements under the direction of Palmer-Pickering Chapel. A memorial has been established for the American Cancer Society.
The family will be at Palmer-Pickering Fueral Home from 7-8 P.M. Friday
