Joseph F. Majerak Jr. 58, of Route 4, Lebanon, died Wednesday afternoon in St. John's Regional Health Center. A son of Joseph F. Sr. and Theresa Miszkowcsyk Majerak was born July 29, 1923 in New York City, and departed this life July 28, 1982 in Springfield, MO.
On June 21, 1947 he was united in marriage with Henrietta E. Priess and together they enjoyed 35 years of marriage, to this union two children were born. Joseph was preceeded in death by his parents and two brothers Frank, and Steve.
He is survived by his wife Henrietta; a son Joe III, Lebanon; a daughter Gertrude Gorecki, Macks Creek; and two sisters, Helen Angle, Lynchburg and Betty Timchek, New York City.
Services will be at 2 P.M. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Theo E. Allwart Sr., with burial in Mt. Rose Memorial Park. Arrangements under the direction of Palmer-Pickering Chapel. A memorial has been established for the American Cancer Society.
