A Mass of Christian Burial for Paul Ray Ardoin, 82, will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Elton. Rev. Jose Vattakunnel will officiate.
Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 9 a.m. until time of service with the Holy Rosary being prayed at 12 noon.
Ray was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Deanna, for sixty-one years. He enjoyed gardening, working in the yard and raising animals.
Ray served our country in the United States Army.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish Ray’s memory include his wife, Deanna Ardoin of Elton; one son, Brent Ardoin and wife, Melinda, of Kinder; two daughters, Paula Hughes and husband, Mark, of League City, TX and Jade Delome and husband, Joby, of Sulphur; one brother, John Clady Ardoin and wife, Lydia, of Welsh; two sisters, Francis Leger of Lawtell and Joycelyn Thacker of Reeves; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Hampton and Rena Ardoin; and one brother, Allen Ardoin.
