Mario James Polley, 14 , died August 21, 2017.

Mario was born in Fort Worth on November 28, 2002. He was an amazing young man, a son and a brother. He was a terrific and loyal friend, a scholar and an athlete, a protector with a warrior's heart. He was both humorous and serious, often times unintentionally both at once.

Mario loved video gaming with his friends, participating in the Society for Creative Anachronism, running, camping and fishing. Additionally, he had recently discovered a new hobby, scuba diving. He was a cross country and track runner for his school, Harmony School of Innovation, where he was preparing to begin his freshman year.

He is survived by his parents; his two sisters; his grandparents; his beloved dog, Snowy; and family and friends too numerous to list, but loved dearly.

Service: Mass of Christian Burial 2 p.m. Thursday, August 24th at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church.

Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park.
