Elmer Edward LAW, was son of William Patrick LAW, 1849-1900, born Ireland, the son of James LAW, baptized Scotland, late of Rensselaer County, New York, USA, and of his wife, Jane COOPER [also, variant spelling: COOPER, COWPER], and of his wife, Ellenor - LAW., 1849 - ; father, William Patrick LAW, 1849-1900, emigrated as an infant with his parents, and uncle, John LAW, age 26, aboard the ship, "JAMESTOWN', departing Liverpool, and arriving at Castle Garden, New York, New York on March 11, 1850;

"Mr. LAW's Funeral
The funeral of Elmer E. LAW , who died yesterday, at St. Mary's Hospital, following a brief illness, will be held at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow from the KERWIN Brothers Funeral Home, 305 Third Street, and at 9:30 a.m. from St. Peter's Church, where a requiem Mass will be celebrated." ENGLISH. Joseph Hervieux was organist and Mrs. Cora Alwaise soloist sand "Domine Jesus Christi" and "Soul of My Savior". Bearers were Pfc Gerald CLIFFORD, Frank W. MURPHY, J. Frank SHERIDAN, and Justus A. MILLER. Internment was in Oakwood Cemetery. A delegation from the William H. FREAR Co. attended the funeral." Troy Record, Thursday, June 14, 1951. P:24.
