Bridget is the daughter of John and Mary McShane O'Hare and sister of Patrick J., Thomas, Hugh and Anne O'Hare. She married Arthur McGann who died in Charlestown, Massachusetts 30 Mar 1856. They are the parents of Owen E. Mary, and John A. McCann. Mary died as an infant and is buried with her father in Charlestown. Following Arthur's death, Bridget moved to Ohio, Bureau, Illinois to be near her brothers, Patrick and Thomas. She subsequently married John Burns. They had 5 children: Hugh, Anna, Julia Marie, Bridget, and Catherine.
