James tragically passed as the result of an apparent overdose and was found by a Good Samaritan who discovered and reported his body near the road. He will be dearly missed by his family.

'Born Aug. 31, 1951 in Monroe, he was the son of Joseph P. Giljum and Bernice M. (Parron) Giljum. He worked for Ford Motor Co. and the Salvation Army. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic church. Surviving are his parents of Monroe; two brothers, Joseph M. of Monroe and John P. of Carleton, and two sisters, Mrs. Brian (Jeanne M.) Deering and Jo Ann Terrasi, both of Monroe.'
