On January 23, 1979, she married Hershel Owens in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Judy worked as an accountant the most part of her life, but her passion was selling Avon. She fell into it on accident and ended up becoming an award winning sales representative. Judy had a great memory and enjoyed quilting, needlepoint, knitting and even floral design in her later years. She loved to read, cook, volunteer with RSVP and watch NASCAR with her husband. [living individual's names omitted] She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Edith Jane Oakes; and one grandson, Brandon Kelley.
Private family services will be help per Judy's wishes to "keep it simple" which was the way she lived her life.
