Served as a Merchant Marine in WW2. His brother, 2LT Paul Bouton, Jr. was killed in WW2, 1943 while serving in the US Army Air Corps.

LAKELAND -- Mr. William "Bill" Townley Bouton of Lakeland died from brain cancer June 30, 2003, at Bishop Gray Inn in Davenport. He was 78.
He was born in Arcadia on April 28, 1925. He was a Merchant Marines veteran of World War II and a longtime member of the American Legion. He belonged to the Moose Lodge.
Mr. Bouton is survived by his daughters, Linda Bouton, Boston, Jennie Fouts, Lakeland; brother, Jack Bouton, Memphis, Tenn.; one granddaughter; companion, Josephine Slean, Davenport.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
