RICHARD'S OBITUARY
U.S. Veteran
Richard W. Morrison 80, of Trenton Maine formerly of Newmarket New Hampshire New Hampshire peacefully passed to join his wife Joan with the lord on June 9, 2019 after a period of failing health.

Born February 22, 1939 in South Berwick Maine he was the son of Harold and Elsie Morrison of Epping New Hampshire.

After receiving his Honorable Discharge for his service in the United States Army he worked for Abington Shoe and Timberland Shoe companies in Newmarket New Hampshire. He worked many years for Aubuchon Hardware as a Store manager and then in various retail businesses after his retirement.

Richard is remembered as a loving caring person who enjoyed spending time with his family and his beloved wife Joan.

He was predeceased by His parents Harold and Elsie Morrison and his Sister Marlene Latour and Phylis Yergeau.

He is survived by his daughter Michele Partridge (Morrison) and her husband John of Trenton Maine, a son Robert Wharem and his wife Laurie of Pittsfield New Hampshire. A brother Neil Morrison and his wife Joanne of Lee New Hampshire and a sister Myrtle Hurteau and her husband John of Epping New Hampshire a granddaughter Kelsie Morrison and her fiancés Philip Martin of Trenton Maine and a Grandson Craig Wharem of Exeter New Hampshire, and granddaughters Siera Traxler of Trenton Maine, Larissa Kimball of Pittsfield New Hampshire, Christopher Tyler of Hooksett New Hampshire, Emily Tyler of Boulder Colorado, Christopher Cavaretta and his wife Nicole of Stratham New Hampshire and Jamie Cavaretta and her fiancé Mike Gellman of Exeter New Hampshire and a sister in-law Lucille Latour of Exeter New Hampshire and Doris Latour of Grand Prairie Texas. A brother in-law, Laurence Pouliquin and his wife Betty of New Durham New Hampshire.

A graveside service will be on June 22, 2019 at 10:30 A.M. at the Calvary Cemetery on Route 108 (GPS address 191 Exeter Road, Newmarket) in Newmarket New Hampshire followed by a small gathering at the American Legion Hall on Main Street in Newmarket New Hampshire.

We would like to thank the great staff particularly the C wing at the Veterans home in Bangor Maine for the great care that they took in helping our father. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Veterans Home of Maine located at 44 Horgan Road Bangor Maine.
