Margaret Corene Walker, 86, died Sunday, Dec. 31, at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Hamilton.
Services were set for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3 at Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Herschel Fortner, Charles Richard Grisham, and Jay Van Zandt officiating. Burial was to be in Blue Ridge Cemetery in Hamilton County.
Mrs. Walker was born April 30, 1909, in Callahan County, the daughter of Charles Ephriam and Myrtle Oney Deathrage Grisham. She was married to Charles Riley Walker on Sept. 26, 1945 in Hamilton.
She was a homemaker and the longest resident member of the Blue Ridge Baptist Church. She was a longtime resident of the Hamilton Area.
Survivors include her husband, Charles R. Walker of Hamilton; a sister, Willie Jewell Perry of Hamilton; and a brother, Cecil Hobdy Grisham of Crockett.
Pallbearers were Baylous Brown, G. W. Parrish, Willie Perry, Robert Grisham, Jeffrey Grisham, Odis Berry, Doug Forrest, and Lloyd Melde.
