Cecil Grisham, 83, died Nov. 27, at the White Hall Nursing Center in Crockett after an extended illness. Funeral services were Nov. 28, with Bill Schibler officiating. Graveside services were at Blue Ridge Cemetery.
Mr. Grisham was born March 18, 1916, in Hamilton, the son of Charles Ephriam and Myrtle Onie Deathrage Grisham.
He was married to Nelda Hoherz on October 22, 1938. She precedes him in death. He was a farmer in Hamilton County for most of his life and had made his home in Crockett since 1992. He was a member of Blue Ridge Baptist Church.
Two sisters, Corene Walker and Jewel Perry precede him in death.
Survivors include his three children, Betty Grisham of Killeen; Charles Grisham of Santa Rosa, CA; Robert Grisham of Crockett; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
