An employee of Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers and a resident and native of Baton Rouge, she died Saturday, June 9, 2007, at her home. She was 17. Visiting at Carney-Mackey Funeral Home, 1576 Robin St., on Friday, June 15, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Religious service at Promised Land Baptist Church, 7234 Plank Road, on Saturday, June 16, at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Perry Wright. Interment in Southern Memorial Gardens. She is survived by her parents, Henry Brown Sr. and Vivian Brown; stepfather, Fredrick Rowe; a son, Alexander Hook III; a sister, Tawanda Brown; two brothers, Terrall Henderson and Henry Brown Jr.; two stepbrothers, Donell Smith and Fredrick Smith; grandmother, Mattie Henderson; grandfather, Joe Louis Johnson; favorite cousin, Angel Favors; nine aunts, 11 uncles, a host of cousins, great-aunts, great-uncles, other family and friends, including best friend, Stephanie Thompson. She was preceded in death by a brother and sister, Michael and Michelle Brown. She was an honor roll student at Northdale Academy. She loved to sing and play volleyball. She had planned to finish high school, attend college and work as a nurse.
