Evelyn Marie (Acton) Carter was the daughter of Otto & Olive Blanche (Brant) Acton. She was married to Harlie E. (Pete) Carter. To their union were born two daughters, Judy (deceased) and Jeanee Carter Southard of Gavelston County Texas. Evelyn was a kind and gentle person who devoted her life to her husband and family. She was an excellent seamstress and cook. She enjoyed photography and left with her family hundreds of pictures she had taken over the years of her life. She died peacefully in her sleep of age related causes and possible stroke.
