Mrs. Mary M. Rose, aged 84, passed away yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Fitch, 332 N. Rowe St. Mrs. Rose, who was the widow of A. Jackson Rose, Summit fruit farmer, had been ailing for several years and for the past seven weeks was confined to her bed as a great sufferer.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Nels Hansen of Victory, Mrs. Fitch of Ludington and Mrs. Mabel Dean of Detroit. Since her widowhood she has made her home with her daughters and had been with Mrs. Fitch since last October.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:15 from the residence, 332 N. Rowe St, and at 2:30 from the Summit Methodist church.
Mrs. Dean, who came from Detroit to assist in nursing her mother, returned to her home a week ago and will not be able to return for the funeral.
