Joseph Mark Finn, age 17, passed away on Tuesday, April 30th 2019 unexpectedly at his home due to natural causes. Joseph was born on February 3rd, 2002 in Denver Colorado, although he would tell you it was 2/2/02 because he thought it was cooler!

Joseph was known for his huge smile, his big heart and especially his ocean blue eyes, which he was very fond of ("take a picture of my eyes... turn the flash on!")
His love of sports carried him from little league into high school. From football to wresting and some baseball in between, you were always certain to find Joseph going to and from practice, bulking up for football or cutting weight for wrestling. In high school he also found other interests such as Student Council and Mens Drill. Joseph also learned what it was like to earn his first paycheck, and every two weeks he loved telling you exactly what that check was! He spent half his paycheck on Chipotle, double fisting burritos!

Joseph was blessed with a circle of childhood friends that allowed him to experience the true meaning of 'Friends turned Family'. His Brothers helped him on the field, on the mat and in the hallways. He had many role models that lead him to become a role model himself.

Joseph had a deep love for his family, and cherished the time they would spend together playing practical jokes on each other, having Nerf gun wars and just being a product of Parenting 101. He leaves behind, from his loving home, Jeff and Elizabeth Hansen, Sister Jordyn, and other siblings Nick, Nathan, Erin and his beloved girlfriend Brooklyn Horn. Also survived by his father, Mark Finn, grandmother Lydia Finn, grandparents Tony and Jan Baca, his aunts and uncles Brandon and Sheila Baca, AJ and Sherry Baca, Trisha and Charles Segura and his numerous cousins. Joseph was preceded in death by his grandfather Richard Finn and uncle Richie Finn.
He was also preceded in death by his loving mother, Shari Baca. Joseph and his mother shared a very special bond, one that could never be matched. Her heart of gold was instilled in her children and it shone brightly in Joseph until the day they were reunited in heaven.

Funeral Services were held on May 8th 2019 at the Presentation of Our Lady located at 695 Julian St, Denver Co.
After, followed was a reception at John F. Kennedy High School where he attended.
