Obituary from The Salt Lake Tribune (Salt Lake City, UT) - Wednesday, February 12, 1936:
ST. ANTHONY, Idaho - Mrs. Emma Allgood, 68, widow of William Allgood, died at her home near Wilford on Sunday morning of cancer. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Wilford LDS Church with Bishop James T. Birch officiating. Burial will be in the Wilford Cemetery.
Mrs. Allgood was born in Hoytsville, Utah in 1868. She was married to William Allgood in 1887 at Coalville, Utah. They then moved to Almy, Wyoming where Mr. Allgood engaged in mining. Eight years ago they came to Idaho locating in the Wilford district.
Eight sons and daughters survive: William Allgood, Rigby; Mrs. James Shelton, Mrs. R. A. Swanson, and Arthur Allgood, Idaho Falls; Ernest and Albin Allgood, St. Anthony; Mrs. Dora Jones and Mrs. Elsie Howe, Sugar City; 29 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a brother, Arthur Birch, and a sister, Mrs. William Brown, both of Hoytsville.
